Andrea Dell'Erba

As a doctoral researcher in the RTG Dimensions of Constructional Space, I investigate pseudocoordinating constructions involving motion verbs in English, Italian, and Spanish. By combining corpus linguistics with experiments involving native speakers, I aim to provide a Construction Grammar-based account of this construction, explain the nature of the non-compositional meaning it conveys, and show how speakers acquire this meaning through language use in context.
