As a doctoral researcher at the RTG "Dimensions of Constructional Space" I am investigating prepositional phrases from Early to Late Modern English. Using a corpus-based approach I am interested in seeing how their metaphorical and literal usages, as well as their complexity and collocational preferences change over time (project 14).
