About Me

I am interested in factors that facilitate the acquisition of a Heritage Language (minority language) in school children. My study aims to examine the development of bilinguals from a cross-linguistic perspective. So far, I have been focusing on literacy and exposure and their role in heritage language acquisition. As part of my project, I am also going to compare monolinguals and bilinguals in terms of their metalinguistic skills.
